查国内外英语词典都没有commit oneself to do sh.一说，只有 commit oneself to sh.

或 commit oneself to doing sth. 不过在阅读中确实偶尔遇到过用commit oneself to

do sh. 的句子 （只能认为 grammatically incorrect）, 但语言在发展“living”, 说不定那

天就OK。

也有人争议说：有可能是 oneself 后面省略了成分，如：

We committed ourselves to working harder to catch up with the backload of work?
